Set up on the streets of Manhattan and Governors Island, this 22 year old prodigy and her grand piano offer a fresh perspective on classical music.
Iris Hond was recruited by The Netherlands Royal Conservatory at only 13. She has been awarded numerous national prizes and can regularly be heard in concert halls across Europe. But what she particularly enjoys is bringing classical music to a younger audience at summer festivals, taking her Flying Grand Piano right into the street.
